Gene, I don't know how you don't get tired of killing paper. I much prefer to shoot at old 35mm film canisters, mini clay pigeons and silhouettes. Gotta get some response from my target.

LOL Chris.... I have lots of other targets set up in my back yard as well..  They are hanging everywhere in the trees, on the phone pole etc. Last year I made up several standing targets for the South Carolina Shootout. There were army men on springs attached to a wood stand, paint balls on golf T's, etc. I think we had about 20 different types of targets including some of the ones that the GTA members brought. One I really liked was the potato on a stick.. It was placed out at about 55 yards and it would blow up when hit.. Must have gone through a bushel of potato's. I was shooting these targets with my FX Falcon, AA400C and my TF-89. We sure had a great time. Hope you can attend the next shootout. |

Each state has their own laws governing such things. Best to check online with your states DNR website or simply give your states DNR dept. a call and have them explain it to you.....
