Gene, I don't know how you don't get tired of killing paper. I much prefer to shoot at old 35mm film canisters, mini clay pigeons and silhouettes. Gotta get some response from my target.

LOL Chris.... I have lots of other targets set up in my back yard as well..Smiley They are hanging everywhere in the trees, on the phone pole etc. Last year I made up several standing targets for the South Carolina Shootout. There were army men on springs attached to a wood stand, paint balls on golf T's, etc. I think we had about 20 different types of targets including some of the ones that the GTA members brought. One I really liked was the potato on a stick..Smiley It was placed out at about 55 yards and it would blow up when hit..Smiley Must have gone through a bushel of potato's. I was shooting these targets with my FX Falcon, AA400C and my TF-89. We sure had a great time. Hope you can attend the next shootout.

We are so fortunate here Pter..Smiley Smiley But some of us do not need a license to shoot in our back yards...Smiley You would not believe how many targets I have killed in the last year.. hehe

    stay out of NJ !!!!!

New Jersey Man Could Pay For Shooting Squirrels

If you’ve ever thought about taking out
those pesky rodents who keep raiding your birdfeeder,
you may want to think twice, according to this
    article.From the Asbury Park Press

    Jason Needham, 48, of Oakwood
Place has a problem with [the] squirrels [h]is neighbor
    likes to feed . . . .??

Matters, it seems, came to a head
Thursday morning when the neighbor called police and
said Needham was shooting at the squirrels with a BB
    pistol . . . . By morning's end, Needham was facing
charges of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

    Later, the Monmouth County Society
for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals filed its own
charges . . . [accusing] Needham of animal cruelty for
shooting at both pigeons and squirrels.

So what is the difference between hunting and pest control? Is it as varied across the country as the hunting rules?

Each state has their own laws governing such things.  Best to check online with your states DNR website or simply give your states DNR dept. a call and have them explain it to you.....

I knew I left California for a reason.  An "air excise tax"?  Okay, does this mean that automobile tires need be registered too?  What in Hades are they gonna come up with next?  Outlawing potato cannons?  You can thank the Govenator for that one!
