do you have a hunting  licence? because i've been going to trabuco cayon to hunt ground squirls.it'close to home.part of the land is county property and the other is national forest.i found some promising spots...

You need a hunting license even though ground squirrels are non-game in California.......also note the Nat'l Forrest Ranger can cite you...not just DFG.....

fyi, i do have a hunting licence.i've never had a problem w/ hunting in national forests all my life for ground squirl non-game or quail,deer or turkey..i've seen fish in game pass by ask a few questions and on my way.i'm completely with in the law.but thanks you for your concern... IT'S GOOD TO BE OTHERS MINDED.
