I just pushed the button on one for sale at Cabelas. I think I got the last one in stock. After talking to the Peak Chick about a new scope for my BSA Ultra Bull Barrel she suggested the new Burris. She had read many favorable reviews on it and was nice enough to pass the info onto me. I wanted another Bushnell Trophy 4-12X40 AO, but Natchez does not have them on sale any longer. I bought two of them a while back but they are being used on my springers. So the new BSA is gonna have a smaller and lighter scope but with a 32 AO instead of a 40 AO. The new Burris Timberline is supposed to have some great glass in it with a couple other nice features.

Would welcome anyone who already has one or knows anything about the quality and performance of the Burris Timberline.

I've heard good things, but I've also heard the AO and power rings are really stiff.  Someone else I know said it was good, but the Bushy Legend 5-15 was just as good, maybe better, brighter, and has mil dots.  And I think it's a little cheaper.  I'll be interested in your review.  Later.
