jsnscott1 - Hello, I have a B-40 in 177cal. and I really really love it! (snip) I done alittle work on the loading port and then the trigger.(snip) after about 2000 rounds the main spring broke. (snip)I used the (old HW99,R6 power spring) I am a toolmaker so making my own guides and top hat(front spring guide) wasnt a problem. I also done some other machine work to tighten up the tolerances a bit. I also bought a used TX200 stock and put on it. Im very happy with my B-40.
So basically, you have the barrel, trigger, tube, & piston left from the original B40 then? And everything that is an original B40 part has been reworked. It's sorta like saying, "I love my Pinto after I rebuilt it into a Cobra."

Thanks guys, for the money they want for a B40, I think I'll pass. I don't have the spare time to put into rebuilding a gun just to get it to shoot decently. Or have to replace the mainspring after only four tins of pellets.
