Late last night the wife comes in & says,, "Dad" there is another $%#&^ %$#@ Racoon on the back porch again!!:o It scared the heck out of her!!:0 Well,,, I had spent several hours earlyer in the day shooting/testing/setting up "Geno",, (My new Marauder Gene bought me) & had her on the pool table ready for action!!8) As I came out the back door he hightailed it off the porch & was headed back to the safety of the dense woods. However,,,,, for some reason,,,,, he decided to stop about 15 yrds. away & look back atme,,,,,,,,, BIG MISTAKE!!:p "Tink",,,"THWACK"!!!! I sent him a 14.3 CP @ about 890 fps. to the top of his lil noggin,,,, "lights out"!!:o:p8) I snapped a quick pic. for my huntin buddys & then went about the task of cleaning up the mess he made of the trash bags on the porch.:0 Will they ever learn???:p Timbo.

Very nice shooting Timbo. That was a dumb bandit!!!!
By the way, about your shroud and the gap. Take the shroud off, remove the end cap and internals. Now take the end that had the cap on it and thread that back onto the gun. Now put the internals and cap on the new other end. That will fix your problem. It is threaded on both ends of the shroud but the threads are shorter on one side and causes the gap.

Great shot buddy! and what a nice looking night critter you got! Just the right amount of "makeup", hehe. That's a beautiful Marauder, eeh I mean Geno! (like Timmo - the 350), hehe. With that scope & side wheel, it looks like a serious PCP. Great looking gun. From a distance I bet you can't tell difference between it and a BSA or more expensive Air Arms carbine. Almost 900fps, that's smoking. The bandit was dead when he entered your property, it 's just that noone told him Great job buddy, keep that Geno busy. I know we 'll see a lot more posts from you. How does it do with the Kodiaks? Have you tried them? Can you get close to 800fps with them? They should be very accurate. How about Predators? Are they accurate w/the Geno?

That's how you do it brother, great shootin and super pic. I've been out myself for night hunt's but I've got em under control now with the slow night activity and I got rained out around 10:30pm last night. I had to make a dash out of the wood's, through the field and to the rig before I got soaked hehe. Ed

David,, I had my Marauder dialed in for Kodiaks for awhile. They were shooting in the 800's and they were shooting ragged hole groups with no problem... this was with factory settings and 2500 psi fill.

Thanks Budd.. the more I see it, the more I think it's a great looking PCP rifle. Thanks for tempting me more I think the AA S410 can go on the back-burner for now, hehe. The multi-shot Marauder at 1/2 the price and almost the same power is looking more & more attractive. It figures Crosman would design the gun to favor their own pellets. I 'm thinking it has to do with the magazine and the way the pellets fit in it. I don't think they would design the barrel/bore to perform better with Crosman pellets. Not sure if it's possible, but with today's technology I wouldn't doubt if they molded the bore around their popular CP & CPH pellets. Most other guns perform very well with JSB pellets and even Superdomes, so they had to have been biased when it came to pellet selection for their Marauder, since they make millions $ in pellet sales. The CPH's are fairly inexpensive though so that may be a good thing, but once in a while I like to use a heavy pellet. I mean it's a PCP, it's supposed to take heavier pellets unlike a Springer.
