...with the pretty stock. Got this rifle yesterday,...and have been doing my best to break her in quick!! I love the two toned look,...and it's much nicer in person than in pix! Still debating laying a 0000 steel wool pad to it for a matte finish. Kinda too pretty,...I'll have to think about it some more. Though not as smooth as the .22,...she's getting better with each shot. She's pure stock with Mike's added touches,...and holds a quarter sized group at 20 yards off hand,...of course that's lager dependant on the shooter,..Me!!! LOL's Soon I'll be calling on my scope buddy to dress her out for field use!!!! I will say the stock spring is a good bit stouter than the Maccarri spring,..harsher firing,...but man the power is deffinatelly there. No wuss light-weight lead going in this rifle,...gotta slow her down some. Better get some "man" pels for this BA'd Mama San!!! Thanks again Mike, Super job!!!! Thomas

ooohh, she does look very nice! I'd like to do something similar, very dark checkering and cherry red stain on the rest..

WOW!  The stocks on the Chinese rifles keeps getting better and better.  You can actually see grain and it is nice.  Hmm.  Might be time to try out a Chinese Supermag???

That is one beautiful rifle!

That really is a looker! Did someone re-checker it? I heardthe checkeringwas pressed in, but that looks great! I don't think I could bring myself to steel wool something that pretty.

If it is causing you pain, you can just box her up and send it over here and I will use it for kindling or something.

The checkering is Laser cut, I saw the machine at the factory and if you can send a picture they can cut it on the computer...really neat...

Thanks for all the comps fellas. Man does this rifle have the juice!!! I've been shooting the heck out of it. Since Thursday, I've probably put a good 350 rounds though her,...talk about getting some upper-body excercise!!! The best part is she's really smoothing out fast. At first breaking it open was a job,..but now,...just a quick pop and she's ready to cock and load. Staying with the irons,..I removed the factory front sight apperture and replaced it with a modified one from another old rifle sight. Glad I keep spare gun parts around!!! All I did was flatten the "point" of the old part to resemble a wider front blade. These eyes are getting a bit older now and not as sharp as they used to be. So far I'm getting a consistant 1040 to 1060 fps with Beemans Cro's (8.8 grains). These are the heaviest and best fitting pellet I have. Everything else goes SS or just below it!!! Note to self,...Get JSB heavies!!!!! tjk
