Just a quick shout out to all our GTA members here.
I found this little forum about a year ago now.
I had been a looker for a while and one day I
finally joined.

I can say it has been a wonderful experience.
I have met alot of nice people and made friends with
some of the best folk in the world. With People like
Timbo, Ed, Gene, Randal, Brent and so many more,
who couldnt like this place?

This community has given so much to everyone, including me, that I just
want to give a little something back. Its not much but just something to say
thanks to every for always being there for each other.

I have a Barska Red Dot scope that I bought for paint ball games. I used it maybe once
on a Tippmann 98 g36 with an RS trigger, (Man was she a sweet gun).
I had it mounted on my AR15 but never used it. It goes on Weaver mounts
so keep that in mind. This wont work on the 11mm dovetails. It should be fine
for PCP's but I am not sure about the springers.

If you want to enter your name in the drawing, post a response here, send me a pm
and I will wright your name down. I will make the drawing one week from tonight,
November the 8th around 9 pm est.  The winner will be posted here and notified with a pm.
The item will be shipped as soon as I can get it out and the postage will also be taken care of.

The rules are simple.

1. You have to be an active member of the forum
and have been a member for more than a month.

2. This is for everyone, including the GTA staff.

3. You may enter your name only once.

Good luck and have fun.

I think is the correct link for what I have.

Thanks again for being such a great family.

Names so far.

This is very generous of you Paul. My story is much like yours- I stumbled on this forum, lurked for awhile just reading, then decided to join. I have to admit that at first I found the greetings people give new members— "Welcome to the GTA, it's a great place to be"— to be a little smarmy. But they're true, this is such a great place to be. I've learned so much here and met so many friendly people. And I have anyone who reads this to thank for the experience.

I have a red dot that I recently broke, I was just fiddling around with it and dropped it lol (oops). If I got another I don't think i'd actually use it (the one I broke wasn't getting any use), so no entry for me. Good luck to those in the running though..

Hey Paul,

Thanks for the doing this.  What a great idea to keep the spirit of helping others going.

I was also thrilled at the sense of community/family on the GTA.  I noticed it was a smaller but tighter group of ladies and gentlemen than say on the Yellow which seems like a meat market.  Kudos to you and let's hope the spirit catches on.

As for the red dot.  I guess my eyes are getting old.  I had to refuse the bifocals but I think that's next year :-(  So no red dot for me but thank you very much for offering.

Good luck to all those guys with better eyes!
