Thanks Timmy and that's good to hear. Don't know about setting it up though....I wouldn't be able to set up a square sheet of wood to set it up on... Cool  Cool  Cool Looking forward to seeing what it looks like with some wood in it. Getting closer every day to the startup and we're all  excited for you.

I got her temporarily put together on the new table Me Buddy Tony ("Magnum" gave me!!:) Thanks a million for the table & the brand new carport canopy Tony!!What a GREAT machine!! Bob,,, the slide rails have 5 rows of tiny ball bearing in them,, they slide like butter!!:D I can see now how they can claim .005 accuracy!! Those rails are SOLID as a rock too,, all my weight on them does not deflect them at all!!:D The motorized turner is variable speed too,, you can spin both pcs of work slow as mollases or fast if you like with just a touch of your foot!!Just need to build my table now. I have come up with a simple but yet sturdy custom table with wheels on the side so I can wheel it outside on nice days!!8) A few 2X6,s,, a sheet of plywood & a router & Im gonna be in buisness!! Thanks for all the support Folks. And THANKS A MILLION Bob for making this dream of mine come true!! I hope to soon have some quality product available. Tim. PS,,, I just put up a couple of "Pumpers" for sale at classifieds if anyone is interested.Cool

Make no mistake,,,, "She" will be sleeping inside the shop at a controled humidity!!8) On the nice days we are blessed with here in SC I will roll her out of the shop to work outside!!Built the table with 2X6 framing on 10" centers with 3/4" ply with stainless steel screws put together with Marine 5200 adhesive.Cool Plenty of dead wood for tailstock adjustment as well. Im getting REALLY close now,,,,, hope to be slinnging some chips/dust by lunch time tommorow!! (Testing of course!!)Was another LONG day today,,,,,,,, Im getting there!! Timbo.Smiley

Wow that's awesome Timmy!!  I know about feeling like a kid again Smiley  I 'm sure you 'll make good use of that contraption.

Man it seems like yesterday you were only 48 when you first visited Dianawerk and were contemplating for 2 months whether you should get a 460 or not.  And when you finally got it, you sold it a couple of months later (does that pattern sound familiar? hehe).  Where did all the time go?  Now the big 50 is upon you Smiley  but you got lots of new toys and ideas to play with.  What could be better?

Well have fun with your new "wood cloning" machine,  hehe.  Can it clone another Timmy?  We miss him at the hunting gate Smiley

BTW, my PCP's have been "down" for a couple of months.  "Ol' Tim" the 350 you gave me is cleaning house!  It even took a very aggressive skunk that was charging me, a couple of possums, and several squirrels.  I 'm going to call the 350 "fearless Tim" I think, hehe  Cool
