Buy these pellets at your own risk. The quality control is very poor. Some pellets are so oversized they will not go into the breech, while others are so undersized they fall out while closing my springer!
The concept is great, but Gamo has to get the dimensions right or they are nothing but junk. snookman

I've bought a bunch of these and had fairly good luck so far. BUT, I agree, their QA leaves a lot to be desired. I have found loose round balls in the tins andsome diameter variations too. In a .22 tin I have found a couple of .177 rounds. Not good....

But, I've not had any .177 rounds fall through or not able to load. Their QA department definately needs a wake-up call.

Happy Shooting!!!!

I've had good success with the Rocket's in both .177 and .22. Not match grade pellet's but good enough to hunt with. Ed

Gamo Rocket pellets 9.6 grains.   I have tried them.  Nothing to get excited about.   Mainly I use them in AGs just after a lube,  quieter than a 7.9 grain.   Used them in one of those Benjamin Super Streaks,  that 48 inch break barrel.   CPHP at 7.9 broke the sound barrier everytime.   The 9.6 was much quieter for neighbors.

And the quality is nothing brag about.  You never know what to expect when you open a tin of Gamo pellets.

I agree, the quality of them is hit or miss but I've had great luck with the .177's.  I've been using them in a couple of my guns for hunting and I've been getting great accuracy and great results on small game.   I guess some guns like em and some don't...

I bought the gamo sample pack that had these, the PBA armor and ragular PBA and their tomahawks. Those are the red tipped ones. All were ok at best. I wish I would have just gotten the assortmant pack or regular lead pellets they sell. Its cheaper and all of them shoot bellet than their fancy pellets. I am not impressed with the fancy ones.  :emoticon:

Are those the ones with the copper bb in front?  I`ve a tin of them...they shoot OK up to 12 meters...beyond that they start to open up.  I think it`s because their skirts are very hard....so they can`t balloon out to trap all the air.  The "bb" in front really makes an extra dimple in the steel plate I was shooting at when testing them from ALL my springers.
