Crosman Quest needs a brake instead of a front sight.  How can I remove the old one?  It looks to be molded or glued on.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself on that one.
Goodluck with your quest.
Cheers, David.

Its a little bit of both. The end of the barrel is knurled and the sight is pressed and glued on. Try heating it up for a few minutes with a hairdryer then use a block of wood to knock it off the muzzle. Or if you don't care if it gets damaged you could use a pair of chanel locks and peel it off.

I'm not sure if the quest front sight is the same as the Storm XT's but if it is grab a block of wood and lightly tap the top of the site towards the breech. It will simply slide off after 2-3 taps. My Storm XT had absolutely no knurling at all it simply had a 20 degree milled flat spot at the end of the barrel where the front side slid onto with a slight press fit. There are mill marks from hogging the material off too fast but what do you expect with a gun made in China?

Both my Storm XT and Sierra Pro have plastic front sights.  I`ve taking them both off before....I just dipped the muzzle into very hot water for a few minutes and pulled them straight out...don`t twist.

Yes on mine the muzzle is knurled so you can't twist it off.  You can heat it to help but I just put a wood block against it and tapped it off with a hammer.  Slid off fine.
