 This to me seems like an even better option to buying the bushing from Crosman and adding shipping, and you should always be able to just go back to the way it was if ever needed.

I just removed that torsion spring, from my M-rod, and used my own shim.
The results are very nice. The trigger weight adjustment screw actually does something now.
I had to turn it in a couple of turns after removing the spring, because the trigger was too light.
The trigger is much more to my liking now.
Now anyone can lighten their trigger with out sending it to someone for a tune.

Kudos and thanks to who ever came up with that Mod.  Cool
