Hi all,
What would you recomend between these two ?
Or something similar preferably in .22, around 700-800 fps (1000 fps in .177) and around $200.
Another question.
Are there any other folding stock rifles other than XS-B3-1 ?
I want one with decent power but shorter than most of the rifles that i see on the market as i want to put it inside my backpack on the longer hikes
Thanks

To tell the truth, I don't know anything about the Stoger X20.   That being said,  if you decided on the B-26 then wait until one pops-up on the classifieds and spring for that.    The B can be quite accurate.   And usually the ones in the classifieds have had the bugs worked out of them ( if it had any ).

archer told me they are not importing the 22s so youll have to look for a 26 and i dont think there are any 22s left either. you could also try a 2250

I'm not sure Stoger is going to import the .22 into the US. Gamo did the same thing for a long time. With the velocities you are looking for in .22 I would look at a bamboo stocked B-25 from mike melick.  Spend the extra to have him go through the gun and tune it. The 26 won't get you to those velocities without light weight pellet then you're at the point of diminishing return. The 26 will get it done up to raccoon size game at realistic distances. The 26-2 may still be available in .22. Keep us updated and let us know what you decided to buy!!

Decided that i want .22 so it is down to b-25 bamboo or b-26-2. Both look the same on paper. Only difference i see is that  b-25 has 18.7" barrel  and b-26-2 -  16". overall length and wight are almost the same.
Does 2 extra inches add anything to the performance of the rifle at these fps numbers. I am surprised that that bamboo rifle is not lighter than a solid wood one. Must be the barrel.

By the way, I believe i scored the last xs-b3-1 folding stock rifle in .22 that Mike had as it disappeared  from his store after i ordered two. Received just one  today. Love it. Will make it a real gun look-a-like

When it comes to springers the shooter the barrel the better the accuracy, typically. The 25 will shoot a little faster than the 26 but, the 26 is a little more compact. Either will fit what you are trying to accomplish. Not sure what the weight comparison is but I know my RWS34 is noticeably heavier than my B26.
