As my eyes get older, I find I need more magnification to see the 17 HMR holes. Maybe the Celestron C-8 is the answer. PS: Gene - the server is up to its old tricks again. Can't attach photos in the usual way.

Tommy, Thats one of the best ideas I have seen in along time? I notice the CZ heavy barrel, I gues that covers any droop issues... do you use it with a shootin stick or just of the bench? Tony.

Tommy, let me know how it works, cause I have yet to find a scope big enough that I could see the holes I make at 30 yards...

That set-up's missing a tripod....a very strong sturdy one. A golf cart will come in handy to lug it around too.

What reticle does that have? Mil-dot, fine target dot, or maybe a German post?

Awesome - the flip-up cover, once installed, could provide shade for several shooters.
