Well I decided to throw the Gamo 3-9x40 on the 2250 since I still had the stock 4x15 on it that has been there since I bought it in 96. Man am I impressed! I have been looking at all the upgrades and mods on here and am now seriously considering this as my next project. I shot several pellets to do the initial sight in then replaced the co2 and holy crap what a group. I though the 2nd shot missed the target. I shot 2 3 shots strings. 1 with crossman premeir pointed 22 and one with JSB jumbo exact 13. something gr. I have had the crossman pellets for a long time so dont know if they are still available in this cal but man do they hold a gorup. Any way all 6 pellets hit the same spot! The whole is just a little bigger than a 22 pellet for all 6 shots. fresh co2 and it waiting by the door for tomorrow. I figure about 1/2 in high from dead center at 35 ft should be close at 25 yards for this gun.  Will test it tomorrow. I am impressed with this sleeper gun I have had in the back of my stable for years. Cant wait to get started on it. The target is a birchwood casey 3 in target.
