I don't usually post on the hunting gate much but found this one to be a worthy massacre I would start by saying the feeder in the photo is 2 days old and i have put it back on the shepherds hook at least three times a day both days and could never get a glems of the vandalist doing it. the other day i finished my cfx project guns lather walther barrel swap and man is she accurate SUPER accurate so now she rezised next to the door in hopes we could catch ourselves a seed thief. so about an hour ago i put the feeder back up on the hook one more time and entered the house and sat down and something told me you should take a look at the feeder so i got up went to the door and sure enough there he was hanging by his rear legs from the shepards hook trying to knock off the feeder so i got the cfx slid the door open and took a careful aim crosshairs glued to his ear and let it fly. the sound that pellet made when it struck home was no doubt the loudest thud of a pellet meeting skull that i have ever heard and to my surprise the tough little critter pulled off at least three good sized back flips before expiring.

The gun ...Gamo CFX freshly tuned w/new LW barrel shooting jsb exact 8.4 at 850 fps the distance was 35 yards.

Thanks and the barrel comes as blank 23" with riflings and had to be cut down to length and gamo's are threaded in so had to turn it on the lathe as well as finish the muzzle crown but all in all it was not that dificult the most difficult part was removing the factory barrel had to use a pipe wrench it was very tight.

lucky the nutter's head was thick enough so you didn't put a pellet through your feeder. Nice shooting.
