No they are made of Hi Impact PVC, very strong stuff. I chose this because I have 2 Gamo Shadow Hunters and one of  the brakes got scratched and touching it up with a black marker, it still shows the scratch, and I checked to re anodize it cost more that buying a new one form Gamo.

These you just remove and repaint, and they don't weight a bunch.

I have aluminum if you want one made of that, I have aluminum stock up to 3 inches in diameter.

You want a pair made of Aluminum ? or the PVC ?

I am just about finished with a Compensator type Brake, NOT Modulator_COMPENSATOR.
it has an  air chamber inside the brake with magna ported type vents in the bottom, with a slanted baffle inside to direct the air charge downward, hopefully to take some muzzle jump away from the rifle.

We'll see and let everybody know if it does what I expect. Hey I got nothing better to do since I am retired.

Do you make the fluted shroud for the R-9, and do you think it would look any good.
