I was wanting to buy a .22 springer and ended up buying a .177 because the Price was right. I ended up buying a Mendoza RM-600 sold by RWS. It shoots very well off-hand. My question is, What scope and mounts do you all recommend for it? It has the scope mount grooves built in to the top of the receiver. Price range between 0 and $150.00. Thanks

You can get an Accushot 1 piece mount from Pyramydair for $16 bucks,,, they work fantastic.  As for the scope,,, depends on what kind of shooting you intend using the rifle for, but for $39.95 (shipping included) you can get a Leapers 3x9x32 AO scope from OpticsPlanet.com.  I've bought several of them and really like em and haven't had any problems at all.  Would work well for target shooting as well as small game hunting.  Just a suggestion,,,,, of course if you want a more expensive brand scope there are certainly many choices.

I'll second Jeff's recommendation on the 3-9 x 32AO Leapers scopes. I have two of them and they are very good scopes for the money. Optics Planet's price on them with shipping included is a the best going. Optics Planet carries Accushot mounts to, and has very good prices on them.

Let us know what you think of the scope, and also how much it was. I am most interested in no Paralax to 10 yards, most of my shoots are around 10 yards and the stock Gamo scope is blurry at less the 30 yds.

We tried to match a rubber scope with a standard mount and it did not work the mount
that comes with the scope is grooved to match the raised rubber rib on thescope

If it works for you please post us with your out come
I will be interested to "know what we did wrong"
