WHAT YOU THINK FELLAS????
-
gonna have to say the extreme wins. the falcon is a beast, but the extreme is much better built. and a tad bit faster. although they are both unruly pieces of construction equipment. or destruction equipment. the extreme is a better gun. though they are both fun to push springs and seals to there most insane application!!!
-
The worst thing I can see from the Hatsan models,..is the crappy rear spring guides,...if they are the same make as the Powerline 1000 rifles. Other than that, the Hatsan has a superior trigger mechanism if tweeked right. tjk
-
do you think the extreme is over priced????????????over rated???
-
I've shot both,,,,, I'd choose the Extreme over the Walther. The extreme has a much higher quality build and the other nice thing is that Charlies trigger is a drop in replacement :)
As for being overpriced..... my personal opinion is that the price should be a bit lower......

thats what alot of people been saying plus i think the extreme is made in england.
-
I have both in .22cal and a 1250/extreme in .177 too. The Extreme is made in England by BSA and is a much better built gun than the Falcon Hunter. As mentioned before another advantage that the Extreme has over the FH is that you can install one of Charlie's GRTIII triggers in it. My Extreme is anywhere between 20-60fps faster with various pellets than the FH and most importantly, IT IS MORE ACCURATE!
-
yep i heard the wather is a poorly made gun with lots of power if that makes any sense lol
-
is the Gamo in question the Gamo Extreme CO2 or the Gamo Hunter Extreme ?
-
I have the Talon Magnum and the Hunter Extreme both in .177. The Extreme has the edge on power and overall build quality and the drop in GRT111 trigger just makes it superior to the Talon magnum and the WFH.The Extreme is IMO over priced when you consider that the WFH is 85-90% as good as the Extreme at half the retail price.
-
gamo hunter
-
I agree with Joeblow. The Gamo Hunter 1250 and Extreme's are very hard shooters plus they have wood stocks which really absorbs allot of the recoil. And yes most all springers are over priced with the exception of the Chinese air guns..:) Would be great if the Chinese would clone the Gamo Hunter Extreme..:)
-
Hmmm,,,, a Chinese clone of the 1250 / Extreme ....... now THAT would be interesting Gene !!!!! I'll betcha a lot of people would jump on those, especially if Mike at Flying Dragon would offer them with one of his tunes :)

I love my 1250.22 critter hitter and wouldn't trade her for the Falcon, think the 1250's are just built better. :) Ed
-
Clone the Gamo 1250. Isn't the Benjamin Super Streak a Chinese clone of the Gamo?
Nathan
-
No, basic design is there but hardly a clone.
-
Not exactly Nathan. At least not a clone in the traditional sense. A different animal that has similar characteristics.
-
the super streak is a better comparision to the extreme not quite as fast as the extreme but probably more accurate and the GRT-III drops into that as well . but i guess i'm a little biased. i have the wfh in .25 i like to call it my high speed shot puter.and the super streak is finally made into something i like. for my goto gun.
-
HOW YOU LIKE THAT .25 CAL F/H
-
Oh ok. I always wondered about the Benji Super Streak. Don't hear too much about them anymore.
Nathan
-
after some fairly substantial reworking in some areas like the barrel pivot and new custom guide work , filled the stock, and a full lube tune and deburr shes still a monster but a least a little more civil. she is a hunting machine though.
-
LOL COOL
-
WHAT U FILLED THE STOCK WITH
-
low expansion window and door great stuff.

You guys should concider the many production/ quality changes in the new walther talon/ falcons. I have a newer walther talon .22 and it has been flawless for about 1000 shots. It got extremly smooth after a few tins also and it is as accurate as i can shoot. It has a sythetic stock but I think it is lighter than the gamo. Also, if you want a .25 springer, the walther is your only way to go. I could put a wood stock on my walther talon .22 to make it as pretty and i doubt the gamo will have anything on it when it comes to critter gitters. I honestly sleep with my walther talon so I can see it when I wake up and its not because its pretty, it because its a screamer.
-
WOW I JUST BOUGHT A TALON MAGMUN FROM A FELLA HERE IM SENDING OFF A PAYMENT I SHOULD ASK HIM IF IT THE NEW VERSION???
-
the gas ram does it help this gun????all that much???
-
where did you get your wooden stock from cus ive been looking all over the place for someone to make me one for my .22 WFH?
