I've got about 60yrds max, at my house and plenty of targets. I've got access to a spot, with 100+ easy, + plenty of ponds to fish in, about 30min south of me. I'm sure that I can round up 4-5 local guys, for some fun, but who else can make it and when? Let's get something going, I'm really bummed that I missed the SC shoot, so let's show'em how a RedNeck does it,hehe.

It's possible that Gene and I might be able to make it. We would sure try to work it out. We are both retired and usually about anytime would work for us although Gene does have some "comittments" coming up. We may have a new "cook"...lol.

For me, anytime between now and mid August. I know that there a several people in mid and north Bama that I'm hoping will be interested.

Would June 21 be ok with everyone? Or if another date would be better, PLEASE let me know. I'm also thinking maybe another in Oct. If anyone is interested PM me and I'll send my address, so you can check, distance and travel time.

Is there another date that would be better? The weekend of the 28th, is out for me, but just anytime other than that is ok with me. So I ask again, who's interested and when can you make it? I'm about 45min away from Gulf Shores, so if anyones better half, doesn't like to shoot, the beach is close by. Come on guys lets get something going.

Hey Mike... Maybe we should be looking at a fall shoot. From here on it's going to be pretty hot. A lot more guys might find that a bit easrier to go with a little cooler weather.

I was starting the think the same thing, but it doesn't start to cool off here until Nov.(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-frown.gif) It's pretty warm now, but nothing like it will be July-Oct.

I'm kinda new here and wasn't invited "But" If you guys are game I'll be there too in the fall meet you guys are mulling over. Like someone already said,It's just to HOT down here in the far south from now till Nov.IMHO . I live in north central FL. (Dunnellon) so this is the closest meet to me I have heard of. I'm on a limited income so I can't afford to go to meets in China,South Pole, like some of us can.

Not to worry John, your invited. It will still be a nice little hike, from the Ocala area, about 8hrs. There are a few members close by you, perhaps ya'll can, get together. I'm going to work on a get together, for late Oct-early Nov.

I'm game for a fall shoot. If we set a date early enough I can take off work on friday and make the trip.

Oct 25th, or Nov8th, will that work, or does anyone have a better time. Now is the time to plan, so if this is going to happen, we need to get started. I'm here most everyday, so whenever is good with me, it's up to ya'll. If any BigBores are brought I'll need time to clear out, some area, about 20min from here for the shoot. Other than that we can blast away here, let me know what ya'll want to do.

I'd love to come down and shoot with you guys then but I will be muzzleloading for whitetails.I smallmouth fish the whole month of October so next year maybe in September???

I know what you mean Mike. It would be nice to have it not rain. I'm not asking for a beautiful sunny day just nice enough to have a great day of shooting.

David, would Sept. 20 be better for you? I think it's still early enough to fudge the date some, as long as we do it soon. This will be ya'lls shoot, so whatever works best, for they majority, is fine with me.

Sept still abit warm here, but that should be late enough, that it might not be too bad. I'm planning on tacking up some shade cloth across the back of the house, so it should be OK, maybe set up a few fans also. I was thinking about cooking up some fish, everyone OK, with smoked mullet. I might even be able to round up some flounder and soft shell crab.(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif)

Let’s hope the Big Kahuna (Gene) is feeling much better by September. Bobmentioned about driving down with him to make the shoot.

Gary, maybe it will all work out that way. Just got to get a definate date, that he majority can agree on. Like I said it's ya'lls party, just let me know when and if there's gonna be any Big Bores, cause I'll have to get a spot cleared in Wilcox. It may be better to plan on that anyhow, right on Styx River and plenty of room, for whatever,hehe.

Could we camp at the spot your talking about? Wanted to come up early so I could already be there for the shoot instead of driving in the morning of.

Jason, we can make room, for tents no problem, I've got a few I can set up. It's just since my mother moved back, there's not much room inside,sorry, unless you don't mind the couch. The other spot is 30ac on one side of the river and 10 on the other, I think we can manage.

Here's my address, so everyone can check driving distance. My brother is out of town, so I haven't gotten the OK on the other spot yet, but he's told me before, that it wouldn't be a problem. He said that I couldn't setup a permanent range there, but could have a bunch of guy's, for a weekend shoot, from time to time. Either way, it would be best to meet here first.

David, it looks like Sept 20-21 will work for most. The 22nd is my Bday, so what ya'll bringin me,hehe. I did get the OK for big bores at my brothers place, about 15-20min from here. Also the new Bass Pro should be open by then, 3m up the road, yeah, I'm gonna really be in trouble now.
