I have a  Gamo 1250 that Rich in Mich rebarreled to .22cal and tuned. Here are some of my chrony results for comparison.

RWS Superdome   14.3 gr      915.8 fps   26.63 fpe.
Crosman Primiers   14.26gr    907.4 fps   26.07fpe.
JSB Jumo               15.9gr      850fps        25.55fpe.
JSB Jumbo Heavy  16.5gr      799.2fps     23.4fpe.
Beeman Kodiak      21.5gr      687fps        22.57fpe.

Knowing that my .25cal Theoben Eliminator will only put out a 19.42gr Webley Mosquito pellet at 794 fps, I have a hard time believing that a .25cal Gamo 1250/Extreme will do any better. Even Strait Shooters Data only shows a .25cal Eliminator doing 818fps with a 17.7gr .25cal Lazer pellet. My guess is that a .25cal Gamo 1250/Extreme would be below these figures but not by to much.
Air Arms Prosport .22 cal
Beeman SS1000H .22 cal
Beeman P1 .20 cal
Benjamin Discovery .22 cal
BSA Lightning Tactical XL .22 cal
Crosman 1377 converted to .22 cal by Tim McMurry
Crosman Quest 800X .22 cal
Crosman Nitro .22 cal
Gamo 1250 .177 cal
Gamo 1250 .22 cal
Gamo Whisper .177 cal
Theoben Eliminator .25 cal
Walther Falcon Hunter .22 cal

I got lucky last year and bought it from a guy for a good price. The only thing that I have done for it since is add a one of Charlies triggers. Without posting the numbers I will say that my tuned Gamo will out velocity/out power my untuned .22cal Walther Falcon Hunter. Not by much, maybe only by about 1.5 fpe with most pellets. I would love to chrony a pre-Turkish .22cal Webley Patriot and a .22cal Benjamin Superstreak and see which one really is the fastest.

Beeman SS1000H .22 cal
Beeman P1 .20 cal
Benjamin Discovery .22 cal

I'm a bit confused.  Wasn't there some discussion of a 30FPE Rich tuned 1250 being developed?  Is it soup yet?  Using 17.7 gr Beeman Lasers it would have to be putting out around 875 fps.  He done any chrony testing or is it still under wraps?  And how smooth is the power plant pushing numbers like that?  I've found that more power usually brings more harsh handling characteristics.  Sort of a point of diminishing returns.

BTW, someone edit out the string on 1250 aftermarket springs?  I thought that was the referenced thread but now there seems to be no mention of it.  Must be a super stealthy project.

How bout we all try to get along guys ???  This is usually how threads start their journey to the "Non Productive Posts" area.  We have had a good thread going here that was rather interesting,,, can't we keep it that way  ???
