R-11 and R-9 owners
« on: March 13, 2009, 08:57:31 AM »
I included R9's because they are essentially the same action. I guess I could include the B26's too. My R-11 has a buzzzz when shot. I'm pretty sure a lot of the vibration and buzz is coming from the cocking arm . I can take my fingers and wiggle it when the barrel is in closed , locked position . Is there a way to quieten it? kirby

Well the rattle in the cocking arm anyway . I did some searching over on the yellow and found this is common with a few fixes suggested , the one I liked ; The simple one : is to open the breech and on the underside , apply a cut to fit strip of the hook part of some sticky back Velcro . When closed , no more rattle . Going to have to open her up and apply some tar on the spring ,to get rid of the Buzz. kirby
