Good price for a QB78 stock to tinker with, I might have to buy one and paint it with bedliner paint. $20 bucks aint bad

Thanks for the mention! Most of these stocks have some filler or surface scratches, but they're serviceable and will look very good if sprayed with bedliner - as you say.

Nothing wrong with that. By the time I get through hunting with it, it'll have dings, scratches, and compression dents.
The QB57 stock seconds aren't a bad deal, either.

Not to mention the fact that spraying them with bedliner gives you a stock that's darned near bulletproof. I did my B40 stock that way, using Mr Archer's instructions in the QB78 book and was amazed at the toughness of the finish.
