Thanks Gene . Well it was a beautiful day to spend shooting with friends . We had a total of only 4 shooters ; but that didn't keep us from having one heck of a day shooting . And what a surprise , we had springer shooters and only one PCP . But what nice springers . My new Walnut Prosport was the cheapest one there . LOL The other two were Whiscombes . $3000+ each and both were topped with Leupold competition scopes about $1500 more with sidewheel . We shot a 50 shots match with me shooting the Prosport against my friend Eddie in hunter class as the two Whiscombes battled it out in Piston Class . When the smoke cleared Eddie beat me with a 36 out of 50 to my 27 out of 50. Doug Vinson shot a 44 to take Piston Class to Ken's 33 . Then , we went to the local eatery , Bess's and had lunch . Afterward , we returned to the range for more shooting . We decided after shooting for about an hour on the practice range to shoot the match again. This time I changed rifles and classes . I switched to my old HW97K and shot Piston Class against Doug and Ken and their Whiscombes . After 6 of the 10 lanes , Doug had to leave , but Ken eddie and finished the match again . This time, Ken shot a 34 and edged me out as I shot another 27 . It was interesting to look back and see where I had missed my points. Different lanes for both matches . Eddie improved his score to a 38 out of 50. The weather was absolutely gorgeous , especially for this time of year . It felt like fall in the afternoon. kirby

It is all about having fun David and it sounds like you certainly did have fun.. Yes it was a gorgeous day here also. It was so nice I took the day off from tuning and shot both my TX and HW for about 3 hours. Got bored from hitting everything and went an took a nap..:) After my two hour nap I went back for some more shooting..:) This time I was pushing lead with my Marauder and TX 200. Both are just fantastic shooters.

All and all it looks like the weather held up good for us and we all enjoyed shooting today.
