Use the RWS compensator, with a sleeve covering the holes.  Works for me (rifle was adapted to paintball tanks, but left in factory original tune).

How quiet is it? My backyard is surrounded by block wall, when you shoot it echos.

Thanks. Eric

Pretty quiet... hard to give it a number, but on an issue speed .177, it's  quieter than an R7/HW30.

Brick/block walls are a problem, they direct noise and make anything sound louder. May have to disguise the soft 'pop' with something to cover it up... air compressor, radio, etc.

Eric,

Ditto that.  I have two of the RWS brakes that I covered in vinyl carbon fiber wrap.  You can buy sheets of this on eBay pretty cheap.  Just search for Vinyl wrap.  Works great because it is fairly large diameter giving it plenty of volume for absorption.
