Grips probs with pistol
« on: April 05, 2010, 12:01:08 PM »
I've been taking my time and using an air tool and a sandroll on a mandrel to whittle on the Izzy's grips.  Seems I kept getting closer and closer then my hand is now uncomfortable and think I may be binding up one of the muscles in the trigger finger.  I know, sounds like a lame excuse, but have read of similar situations.

Seeing as how I don't know squat about musculature, muscle interaction yada yada, does anyone have any tips/hints/pointers or can point me in a direction to further this part of my education?  Any overall waypoints in grip carving?  I don't do wood for a living just to let you know that I'm starting a bit below ground zero......
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery.  Hit the target!  All else is twaddle.
