I don't know how much droop a compact has VS a regular barrel. Yes, some fixed barrel Dianas also have droop. Why? Because the barrel alignment on these mass produced guns varies slightly from unit to unit. Diana furnishes most of their guns with iron sights and shooters in other countries do use them. As a result, Diana adjusts the guns so that they shoot at a certain distance within the adjustment range of the sights. In other words, they bend the barrels to make the guns work within the iron sight's range. To people who shoot with a scope this sounds weird but to iron sight shooters it makes perfect sense.
