Ok, I know this is stupid but,...how do you apply Loctite (blue) to scope mount/rings? Do you only apply to the mount screws or all screws (rings)?

Any tips?

I just ordered for my Gamo Big Cat 1200 and I can't wait....

Leapers AccuShot Swat Classic 3-12 X 44 30mm Tube Mil-Dot Range  Estimating Parallax Adjustable Rifle Scope (non-illuminated)  (TS Strength Platform).

BKL  1-Piece Mount, 30mm Rings, 3/8" or 11mm Dovetail, 4" Long, 6 Base  Screws, Matte Black.

Thank you.

Stephen

Remove all screws and degrease screws, mount threads, grooves on receiver and on the mount. I like to use brake cleaner because it flushes at the same time. Apply Loctite on the screws, about 1/2-2/3 from the end to the head as it will spread as you tighten. Use a Q-Tip to remove any excess that may come out. Now for the hard part. LEAVE IT ALONE for 24-48 hours to dry. Then enjoy.
