Fun with the HW40
« on: June 18, 2010, 01:41:40 PM »
I bought one of these neat little pistols a year ago or so.  It was supposed to be for my wife but she prefers shooting an air rifle.  I know, it's big of me to take over the pistol for her, but you do what you have to do...ahem.  Anyway, I know they are great shooters, but mine has been a bit overlooked since purchased.  I finally had a chance to set the trigger where I like it and do some 'serious' paper punching in the garage today.  I'm no expert but this pistol is a tack driver, and plenty forgiving at that.  I was using Hobbys, and after getting used to a bit of muzzle flip, serious groups were hammered out with little effort (and an unlucky mouse!).  I had been entertaining the thought of selling the gun but today's adventures have convinced me to hang on to it and become better acquainted.  Link to target pics: http://s630.photobucket.com/albums/uu25/Dehouser/?action=view¤t=IMG_4453.jpg

I'll see your HW40 for killing mice and raise you my WD40 and killing flies, mosquitoes, wasps and hornets!

Just a spray and I can knock them out of the air. Try that one with your pellet pistol.l
