55 yard paint ball kills!
« on: June 21, 2010, 03:49:26 PM »
I finally got a chance to get my 350 down to the swamp to test out the PG2 kits and man what a difference. That things shoots so smooth and accurate now its almost unreal. I took my tripod and folding chair down set up at 35 yards and got warmed up. I shot a key chain tag with a 1 in pasty on it. I was hitting that and the t spoons like clock work so I set up the paint balls and pop pop they went down. SO I moved back to 45 yards and set the key tag up on a branch and hung the steel ram with the spoons and set up more paint balls. They all fell just as easy. Moved back a little to 55 yards and set up more targets. Warmed up on the key tag and steel targets. Then tried the paint balls. Took a few shot but then dialed in and knocked 2 in a row. Waled down and set up 2 more took aim and killed them both. I backed up to 65 and hit the golf tee I set them on 1 time out of about 15 shots. Was hitting the spoons and key tag every with very few misses. Man am I impressed with how smooth it shoots. I think I finaly got it set up good.

While setting up more targets I heard the blue jays getting all worked up and thought they were yelling at me but then noticed something off in the trees. It was they grey fox Ive seen several times running across the road into the swamp. I froze and he just stared at me for about 10 seconds then trotted away from the trail and off into the swamp. Was pretty cool. All in all a great day.

Kewl....sounds like a fun day of shooting. I love watching a target explode like the paintballs. I've tagged them fairly consistantly at 25 yards. You got me ready to step back a bit and test my ability with my XL1500. The gun is capable, just not too sure about the guy behind the glass. LOL

Thanks for sharing but next time, how about pictures?

Happy Shooting!!!!

That's awesome.  Glad the kit is working out for you and your shooter.  The kit is just one component, let's not forget the TLC and tuning time you have invested.   Do 75 yards!  :-)
