This is a follow-up to the "riddle-me-this" thread wherein I discuss my new Beeman Model 1073 (RS2) which came with a downward bend in the .177 barrel. To say it shot low is an understatement. As some of you may have read, I contacted S/R Industries, and talked with Dani, the customer service person. I chose the option of having her send me a new barrel, even though she said it would not fit " as each barrel is custom-fitted to each breech". Old reckless me took a shot anyway. The Rifle was sent out last Thursday or Friday, and arrived today (this is what Brown did for me).
I hope the attached cam-photo tells the story. These are the very first shots from the new barrel. The three touching shots in the lower left quadrant were all the same aim point. The other four are me dickin around, trying to use mil-dot aiming No adjustment of the scope. I just mounted the rifle barrel, checked the fit and starting shooting.Oops! I forgot to clean it!! Not to shabby, eh? :emoticon:
