Anything going on in SC?
« on: December 09, 2007, 09:09:41 AM »
On a regular basis?  The guys over in Covington have got it going on, but I'd like to find something just a little closer, what with the price of gas going through the roof!  There used to be a public range up in Modoc, for powder burners....but haven't been there in years.

Just curious....

If you mean South Carolina, we have only had one shootout and it was last summer. We want and need people to help with location, setup etc.

Gene, even though I live in Ga., I'd be glad to help when and where I can, if it's less than a hundred miles from Augusta, Ga....

I will help with setup and attend. I missed the last one because I was out of town on business. (I quit that job and I travel no more).

I have a few targets and one gamo knock down. I am willing to buy another knock down or two if we get a semi regular thing going.

I would prefer something in the upstate.

Well this sounds like we may get something going here..:) I am sure it will have to wait till after the first of the year but we could have another great shootout again. We did one at J's place this last  year so is there a central spot that we can all get together at for this shootout. Lets kick this around a bit. I do not know anyplace Covington around here that we can shoot but maybe someone may know.

Lets chew the fat on this..:)

How about planning something for middle of April? I know I'll be there then and that will give others time to make plans.:)

Not too cool, not too hot, works for me, I can probably even bring Dad. 86 years young, and having a ball with his Mendoza and Crosman...
