seal kit, valve stem 0408,pierce pin 0407,exhaust valve, I want to get these parts before i start tuning in case anything goes wrong i cant tune the gun to much due to uk laws,to buy these parts in the uk cost more than the gun itself £50 and im sure there must be another outlet for spares

Ian, as another uk QB owner I have just sorted my girlfriends rifle, to 11.5 FPE without any valve mods or shimming the spring.
I bored out the bolt, opened / matched the ports in the barell / reciever and there it was. Did a load of other work as well but that is the basis of it.

Hope that helps

thanks for all the advice theres a place in colchester that sells most spare parts just waiting for the price list to arrive, ill start with the bolt mod and ports then see what the chrono reports, for the price i paid for this gun i cant fault it it fires very well out the box and the accuracy is how everybody else described it bloody good ,on the bolt mod what size drill bit did you use ive read its a 5/32 or9/64

For matching the bolt, reciever I'd start at .150 then test, work up from there if you need it, the effect of the mods can be compound so while some seem to do little, you may sudedenly find you are over the limit. Well that's my experience. If the place in Colchester is Sports Marketing can you post the link please, been looking for them.

Thanks

Ian

Sorry. If i had a working brain cell i'd have understood your question! Bolt drilling dimensions below. I did these for my PCP converted QB but the bolt is now in the CO2 rifle Iv'e just finished so I guess they are not far wrong. Start small and work up, the old one about easy to take metal off, harder to put it back applies!

Bolt bore 4mm
Bolt bottom port  3.5 mm smoothed with dremmell ball cutter

Thanks, got their catalogue now  :) not too keen on their prices though! By the way, when you come to strip and rebuild your QB expect to replace a couple of the barell O rings, first job is to stop them getting cut so badly.
