I'm starting a new campaign to promote airgunning at our local club. I have several members who live in differnet parts of West Texas take a flyer and post it around their town. The idea is to create a poster that has 2 really cool airgunning pictures on it with a simple headline and website/contact info. Here is a sample.

Have to work on the backround color, white dont cut it. Need to get a hologram(not reflective) of a shooter or something...

That is a great idea, the only thing I notice is that you need an area code on the phone number. Also a nice siloette of a shooter, or gun would be good to jazz it up a little. Colored background would be nice, but since it's for print I don't think it'll work well, unless you plan on printing 4 color, like professional posters are printed on (read "money" here). Also might think about a simple paragraph of text alongside one of the photos. Like:

Airgunning West Texas

"Airgunning is a fun and relaxing sport for the whole family.
Shooting an airgun accurately takes alot of skill and patience,
but is very rewarding. Come out to the field and take
advantage of what this sport has to offer, we would love to
see you. We have matches every Saturday morning from 8a.m. - 12p.m. followed by awards and a real Texas BBQ. Practice shooting is available every afternoon from sun up to sun down. Call for directions out to the field and recieve a free antennae ball, courtesy of Miller Chevrolet. "

I think you get the gist of what I'm showing you. Just think of how a magazine ad looks, how it's layed out, formatted, etc. Kinda hard to show you on the web editor, but in MSWord or something like that it should be a breeze. They probably even have a flyer template you can use to make it look right. BTW: I'm in Fort Worth, have you ever heard of any organized shooting out my way, I'm pretty interested and know there has got to bemore local people into airgunning.

Great advice guys. I do have many different posters. Some have children on them, some have a really beautiful air rifle on one pic and a shooter on the other. I just change it up a lot. I will get that area code on mine, although there is an area code on the posters that go out of kermit. I think making it magazine style would be much nicer. Thanks again for the great suggestions.

Dan, the only clubs I know of around your area are the Central Texas Airgun Club and the Somerville (Yegua Airgun Club) Club....
