that will raid the feeder's at Squirrel City.:) I headed back over to my buddy's spread, big nutter problem and sure enough they were after the feeder's again. With the B26 Sporter in hand, Predator loaded and camo on I slithered into the wood's to do some damage control. I thought I would change up my hide location, keep em gessing and move to the backside of the feeder location. Finding a nice pile of downed timber I worked my way into it and watched as they made their way from the upper limb's to the feeder's and back to the cover of the tree's and I noticed that they seem to have a route that they traveled back and forth hmmm. So I watched the lunch line go back and forth and waited for a clean shot since they were taking short breaks on the limb's between feeder and tree I rested my baby in a crotch of a limb and let em get in the clearing, he stopped for a scratch and I put the crosshairs on his fusebox sent the Predator away, he dropped to the ground with several quiver's then shutdown. The tree's cleared of Squirrel's in second's, knew it was coming but I didn't move but just kept scanning the tree's for odd shadow's which I found. With the sun behind me and filtering through the tree's I noticed a shadow, not me lol on a tree out in front of me and it was a perfect outline of a squirrel which had circled around and was sneaking up behind me to get a look. I ever so slowly pulled up my shooter and began a snail like turn and then he started to chatter to warn the other's but stayed put. There he was just sitting on a limb, twitching his tail and making a fuss while looking directly at me. Again the crosshair's were set on the front of his mug with another Predator ready to go, the barking stopped as the front of his head turned a nice shade of red and he fell without a struggle. After two of em down I knew the rest were deep in cover so I climbed out of my hide and grabbed my harvest for the day. The first fella took it in the sweetspot, the side of the fusebox at 32 yard's and the second fella ate his lead at 22 yard's. Plenty more to harvest so I'll be back to play hide and seek with em.:) Ed

Hey Ed,,,, yeah,,, they're still out roaming around. The weather here is still rather warm so they're still in their usual patterns, but it won't be long before they start to "slow down" and go deep. I was gonna go huntin this afternoon at the duck farm but I had another stupid doctor appt. that I had to keep. Tomorrow I'm free though so unless something comes up I'm gonna get out to the farm in the afternoon and hunt some big furry rodents :)
Matter of fact I'm gonna sight in the new .20 cal 48 tomorrow morning and if all goes well she will be goin on her first hunt :)
Hopefully I'll have a story and some pics to post tomorrow.....

Great buddy, it's been real cool here at night 40's and about 70 during the day. it's said that they will hang out as late as October but that's pushing their sleeping time. I'm headed out tommorow myself with the TAC1.22 and will see what I can kick up myself, goodluck and I'm sure you'll drag something home for dinner.:) Ed

Great shooting Ed, love that pic! 32yds is awesome and a head shot no less!
No g-hogs here at all. I don't know what happened to that big one, the mama of the last youngster I took. I have not seen 1 since. I asked a couple of the neighbors too and only one of them said he saw 1 a week ago in his backyard. He 's 2 houses down. The other one said he used to see them all the time but nothing the last month or so. I know I got most of his too because I saw them cross-over to my property. Oh well, I just hope the crows come back this year or I may have to go look for them. I ordered a crow call from Cabella's along with the camo netting. I hope the call works well. It had 13 reviews and 12 were very favorable.
