Like Shadow said the rain has been bad.
But finally it has stopped and I was ready, I don't have much of a story its past my bed time but thought I would share a picture of my success of the hunt.
2 hour hunt 3 hours of cleaning, and picking hair's......... A special thanks to leftcoast for a good shootin R9

Some fine shooting with a fine airgun if I say so.
Good job.

Congratulations Troy on a successful squirrel hunt. Great pic and a good looking rifle. Guess Jason's 'ol gun wasn't worn out after all. Three hours cleaning and picking hair?? Try skinning them next time instead of plucking them. Lot's faster.LOLJust kidding.

Now that is a pic !!! Fantastic shooting, congrats on a fine hunt. That's a meal and a 1/2 laying there :)

OK, I'm getting excited about going back. Just love a Michigan fox squirrel day in the woods. Thanks for the pictures!
-
4 squirrels in 2 hrs....I can live with that!!!! That's fine shooting and a fine shooter...both you and the gun. A successful hunt is like Christmas....it's fun putting up the decorations....but alot of work taking them down and boxing them. Very nice hunt. Wish it was like that here in CA. Here, everyone flocks to the mountains and you really have to work your butt off just to find a tree squirrel. This past Saturday, small game opener, I spent two days... and only came home with one... so compare to you, you had one fine day.

Fantastic Troy, great shootin and that's a fine mess of nutter's laying there next to your sweetheart. We may have to join forces here and take em by storm. :) Ed

Thanks guy's it was a fun morning, the one on the bottom still had a big ol hickory nut in his mouth when he hit the ground, this place doesn't get any squirrel hunting pressure but my day's in there are limited because when bow season starts Oct 1st its off limit's for me. Shadow do have much ground to hunt I would be interested in a trip. This one spot I have is about it unless I go to some state ground..............
-
Great hunt Troy!! Looks like you have those same Purdy nutters as Ed has. Man that shure is one good looking rifle Buddy,,I love a "shiney" stock!!LOL!! Would also appear you got her dialed in really nice!! Nice shootin Troy,, FANTASTIC pic.!! Tim.

two acres of land, over half with thick wood's and lot's of connection's with permission to hunt. Ed

Nice job. I'm getting jealous just thinking about what I could do with those in a stew.....
-
Great shooting! You bagged a handful of those Carolina fox squirrels. Nice looking R9 and great pic!
-
BigCat, you said three hours of cleaning. You don't mean cleaning the kill for eating do you?
-
I took it as meaning that no matter how hard he tried, no matter how long he scrubbed, he could not wash away the stain of innocent blood from his hands.
Or maybe he's gonna eat 'em. I would.
Seeya!

After the 3 days of rain we had they were really out............The r9 is hard to beat..............
-
Nice bag Troy !! Try wetting the squirrels before skinning them,I find it helps keep the hair down...
-
Thanks for the tip Brent, these fox's have the toughest hide, they are nothing like a grey or a black to clean......................Troy
