Today my daytime pest control duties had me back out at Squirrel City since I took a couple day's off for night patrol on Country Rats. I hit the woods at about noon today since they are always there raiding the feeders but I did notice that they had a new route that they were taking to the feeder's hmmm. I loaded the ShadowSport and slipped into the edge of the woods and slowly without sound made my way to the fence line in back then worked my way to my previous hide. Almost tucked into my hide when I spotted one headed back from the feeder's out ahead of me. He paused on a limb to adjust all the seed in his cheek's so still standing in the middle of a brush pile I raised her up and placed the crosshair's on the side of his fusebox and released the Predator. "POP", a solid hit but this fella doesn't just drop instead he break's into a scramble for ten feet then realizes that his time has expired then drops to the ground with his lights out. With some yardage step's to my harvest, 32 and a big toe hehehe I inspected the entry wound which is one of the cleanest Predator entry holes that I've seen. There was very little blood but I could see into it and the hole it left in his skull, less mess to clean up lol. The rest had departed quickly into the shadow's so I knew that it was time to go so I got a quick pic for you hunt junkies hehehe and headed for home. I will be back on night patrol tonight since the Gentleman gave me the go ahead to stake out his place and "get em all" as he put it. He was very pleased the next day when I showed him a pic of the previous nights successful hunt. It's a tough job but someones got to do it lol. Ed

Nice shot! It sure is funny how that fusebox either goes dead or short curciuts, main thing to remember is don't let the smoke out.
-
Thanks for another fine hunt Ed. Be sure to save a few tonight, for future hunts, hehe. I've got alittle something, I'm working on for you, I'll give it to you at the shoot, or let you know when to watch the box.

Ed, I envy you even though the Bible says I shouldn't.Thanks for sharing and taking us along.I'm still waiting for the weather to turn a little cooler here so I can get out and get me some without the hassle of insect repellant. We'll still have ticks and chiggers to deal with here for a couple or more weeks.

Thank's guys and coooooool Mike.:) I will try not to take out all of em tonight unless they gang up and try to charge me lol. I'm hoping for some night action but as we know night critter's keep their own schedule, dusk to dawn. Ed

Very nice shootin Ed. I know all about the tough job for the neighborhood. I have been put on notice that I am Rat Patrol Sheriff. I do need more Deputy's tho, there thick here in this neck of the woods.

Ed, B-3 carbine's sister is looking for a home, thought you might could give her the accommodations.(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-surprised.gif) She's a healthy B, in the 750 range right now, but that may go up, hope your ready to feed her,hehe.(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cool.gif)

Great shooting ED!! you and them predators are unstopable!!! keep at em Buddy :)
-
No doubt. Once you let all the smoke out of a circuit, you can never get it all stuffed back in. I've tried.
-
Johnny, if Texas weren't so far from GA, I'd be your deputy.
Chris, those Predators are beginning to really impress me. I need to get some when I get the money.
-
Fine shooting buddy,,,, beautiful lookin nutter. You're certainly on a roll,,,, keep whacken em !! :)
I haven't been able to get out and hunt last few days ,,,, to busy fixin stuff around the house :( ,,,, it's ok though as long as I can log on and get to be part of your hunts :)

Well, at least he expired while doing what he likes best.....chewing on seeds. Good shooting Ed. He looks like a very healthy one....still not fast enough as a speeding pellet though heh heh.

Thanks Guy's and Ric I hope all is well with you and yours.:) Ed
