When in the field I found it hard to find a place to lay my Discovery down safely and attach the pump. I made this cradle to keep it clean and off the ground. Mine is 14 inches long and 5 inches wide. I covered the cutouts with leather to protect the barrel and scope.

Good idea. I end up resting mine upright against something and taking the chance of it falling over. I'm just stupid that way.

Great idea Rod. The more we do to take care of our babies, the longer they will last and treat us better, for it.
