No
I got a new E3650 spring today from Jm with a new seal
The spring fit really nice (tight) on the top hat and guide
I put it back together and it shoots lol
so I'm happy
no twang but then I used to much tar
I take it apart and clean it and start over tomorrow
thx again

if the spring fits tight on the tophat and guide then use very little tar.
you can always go back in and put more on.
tar should only be on the o.d. of the spring.
when i use tar i only use about half the size of a pea.
