Hello everyone. I have a special request for those of you that pray. I just left the ICU that I used to work in. A friend of mine attempted to take his own life earlier this week. A breathing trial was started this morning, in order to find out whether or not he can breath on his own. I've known this guy for about 12 years. He has a wife and a young daughter. I would like to ask all that are willing to say a prayer for him and his family. 12 years might not sound like a long time to some of you, but it's the longest time I've ever known anyone, outside of my own family.
It would mean a lot.
Thanks,
Michael

Thank you to everyone. It means a lot to me. Right now, all they will tell me is that he is "stable". I haven't been able to talk to his wife yet--I really feel for her.
You guys are great and I really appreciate all of your prayers.
Thanks again,
Michael

Michael,
I am co-leading a retreat and we will raise up your prayer need tomorrow at first message time. We have 47 folks on the retreat. That is 47 more people praying for your friend. Lord bless you.

First of all, let me thank all of you again for your prayers and support. My friend has been moved from a medical floor to a psych unit. That's actually good news-they won't move a person to that unit until they are medically cleared. So, physically, He's ok. I just spoke to his wife, and she's hanging tough. I can't begin to imagine how hard this has been for her. I'll be able to visit him on tuesday.
Never underestimate the power of prayer--He should have died, but didn't, thank God.
Thanks again to all
