Hi..I was woundering do MuzzleBrakes work on air guns And do they have any effect on accurey. I.m thinking they should be ok as the barrel is theaded for one. As I want to put one on a Evanix AR6 LOL LOL Well thats interesting This web site won't let me use the word for a device that rejuces a guns noise. I.m not talking about a muzzelbrake but thing that rejuces noise. They ARE legal over here. MuzzleBrake <<===== see done it again LOLM U S S L E B R A K EHAHAHA out smarted it

Peter, muzzle brakes have no effect on muzzle report. They are merely to protect the crown of the barrel, better leverage with a barrel cocker, and aesthetics.

I thought about experimenting with my 909 Big Bore to see if an efficient brake would reduce any recoil that may occur as a result of the nearly 400 grain slugs I'm going to launch. I doubt that there's enough air volume coming out the ports to make any noticeable difference.  It could act as an effective muzzle weight, though, and improve grouping due to vibration dampening.
Where's that dead horse? I need to beat it.
