Squirrel for the the icebox. I didn't get out last night for night patrol, the wife is sick so I was nursing but made it over to Squirrel City this morning and as usual the nutter's were moving about. My choice of pellet today was the Destroyer, sighted the B26 in last night with them which was just a click on the scope. The resident was gone already so I headed right for the brush to do a walk and stalk, walk a few paces then kneel down and scan the tree's. They were moving all around but I wanted a clear shot and twenty minutes in I got one. She was stretched out on a branch resting and watching me as I made my way down the game trail so about 20yrds out I slipped off the trail and moved behind a tree. I peaked around and she hadn't moved so I slid my baby around the tree and placed the crosshairs on the sweetspot. Destroyer away and solid hit and she dropped lifelessly from her resting spot to the ground. As the norm here now the rest scattered so I snagged up my harvest which dropped at 17yrds and did one more scan for any brave one's. All were in hiding so I grabbed a pic for you GTA HUNTERS!:) and headed out. Hopefully the wife is feeling better tonight and I will get out into the night.:) Ed

Hope your wife is feeling better Ed!

Sounds like you have lots of squirrels around to last you several seasons.  You definitely have enough squirrel to eat for at least a week so no need to go food shopping for a while  :-)  Good shooting & pic!

Good shooting. At least you can eat those bushytails. The ground squirrels that we have around here are only good for buzzard bait.

Good going Ed.  Very nice shot.  Wish I had more squirrels in my yard....I think I have a family of 4 and 1 loner that have been coming since I put up a few birdfeeders.  But they`re not destroying any property so I enjoy watching them munching on the sunflower seeds, and leave them alone.

Hoping your wife feels better.
