Got it all togeather at last and it is so sweet compaired to a stocker.
recoil would be less than half and no cant "twist" that I can detect.
( must have some)
I was shooting both a stocker & the moded one pellet for pellet to
compaire them, at 40 metres the stocker could put a decent dent in
a sheet of galv roofing iron & the moded job could RIP a hole right though.
when I say rip I mean rip a hole with 25mm tears of each side.
Ever hearring to lappest time between fire and impact sound was way less
with the moded one.
I was hopeing for a nicer gun to shoot and I have really got that I didn't
exspect a incress in power "FPS" but I looks like that has incressed as well !
In pic 3 you can see the guide when cocked.
In pic 4 you can see the guide in the uncocked postion
Now just have to strip/sand and revarnish the stock

Can you explain this mod so a newbie like myself can understand what this mod is and what it does and how the rest of us can do it?
Very intrigued but also very confused

Hi...derek, If you scoll down in this section "shop" you will fined a thread headed-
"one peices spring guide" in that is the complete process I went though to
get to the finished staged

lookin good Peter.

Nice work Peter. I have to admit, I had my doubts as to whether it would work or not, when you first started.
-
Can't wait to see chrony and targets.
-
Very impressive project! Good way to do a tune!
I'm thinking this could work good with a thumb hole stock.

Really got to do something with those ugly screws holding
the end guide in place
