Be careful not to crack the stock. Best to use blue loctite on threads and cinch them down snug. I have had no problems with my Lightning fore stock bolts coming loose yet. But if they do I will use a bit of blue loctite to help hold them there. I do not recommend using loctite on stock bolts but sometimes it is a necessity. The last thing  you want to happen is a crack in your hole..:)

Sky, try going to your local hardware store and take one of the screws for sample and look for a new set of screws. Ace Hardware here has a great selection of metric screws with the different heads.

Best of luck

Hello Sky,
I have a Lightning and I am pretty sure it uses the same screws as your rifle. I have just put one of my screws against my old thread cleaning file. I reckon it is a .75mm thread they have used.
Good luck,
Alan

Did you end up finding some replacement screws for your lightning? I ran into the same problem stripping those little things....
