I sent my Whisper to Pyramyd Air to have a gas ram installed and....
They lost it.
My Whisper was not stock I foamed the butt stock and I had a GTR-III trigger
The stock and barrel was completely smoothed (removed
all the seams).
This is what I got in return.
Talon SS.177
Co2 Adapter
Scuba Refill Clamp with Gauge
Leapers 3-12x44AO SWAT Scope
80 mm Side wheel
Leapers 30mm Rings, High, 11mm Dovetail, See-Thru
2 tins of Beeman Crow-Magnum .177
I think it was a fair trade

I'd say they must like you. They sent me damaged pellets and won't return my emails.
-
Wow...They sure went over and beyond to make you happy...congratulations!!!

They have always treated me right and answered my questions or referred me to the right place to get the answers . Good people for the most part and most of them shoot as well . I must say they have really stepped up to the plate with this deal . But then again we are all human and make mistakes from time to time and aditude has a lot to do with things as well .Marvin

Ahh man!!!! NOW I know why I got this dumb Gamo from Pyramid when I tried to order a Talon. Send me the Talon and I'll have a Whisper sent to you brand new from Pyramid....deal? They've mess up my orders before, shipped me dented tins of pellets in poorly packaged boxes, but then for the most part they ain't all that bad. Haha, sounds like it all worked out, enjoy your new gun! Order yourself some H&N Barracuda Match pellets (same as Kodiaks but cheaper usually), those LW barrels on the Airforce guns love them.....save the Cro-Magnums for melting down into fishing weights:)
-
Sounds familiar.

Dano, does the Talon not like Crow Magnums? My R1 loves them, as does my Benji 392.
Howzabout the B50? I'm hoping to use them in mine for rabbits and squirrels.
-
They are about as good as it gets in my 890
Never had a chance to try them in my Whisper
-
The B51 groups the Cro-Mags "ok", it's the only gun I have ever shot them out of that did well with them though. Here's what they look like out of my R7 at 15 yards, which is pretty typical for everything else I have shot them out of....I found some of these pellets after this shooting and they were flat in the sides instead of from the front....as in they tumbled sideways:

I got two tins of these from a friend about a year ago, gave one tin away unopenned, the other tin is still half full....go figure:)
