I had been wondering if I'd killed em all of. Not so.

Saw this one today VERY WELL hidden amongst the dropping leaves and tree bark. 35 yards, one shot.

This fella was a gifted acrobat. He did 4 high jumps straight up after the shot before sleeping.(http://../photos/get-photo.asp?photoid=1526)

Now THAT looks alot like the nutter I took-out on lunch yesterday!  Nice Talon!  Mine a was a bloody flipper too but I took the picture in the wrong camera setting and wasn't really clear enough to post.  Good job...     you never know there might be a couple others out there!

Black Mamba, I have an off topic question - how do you like that barska scope? I have a 4-12 x 40  barska and for the life of it can't get it to focus right. I see the reticles clearly, but no matter what AO adjustments I make it isn't clear at any magnification.

Thanks

Chris

If I had to do it again, I wouldn't preez.

I'd call it "Ok".  At higher magnifications (above 18 power) it isn't clear and you really have to have your eye in the right spot for it to be clear at all magnifications above 12.  (I typically use 18 power).  I cannot shoot it at around dusk either.  Light gathering is lacking.
For clear, sunny days it is fine though.  The other problem with it is that it only adjusts down to 25 yards.  Anything closer even at 6 power is not clear.  That is one of the reasons that this gun gets used at longer distances.

I really should have spent a bit more and gotten a better scope.  I won't make that mistake again.

Good shooting.  The healthy fall squirrels are pretty fat and big....I guess if they can survive the whole year....they`ve got it made...unless they meet up with Mr. Talon.  hee hee

Thank you. I was afraid you were gonna say that. I think I will replace my Barska with Bushnell Banner 4-12. It will look good on top of my SS!

I really like the grip on your Talon. 1911-esque.
