Hey Guys,
Got some predators the other day. They are as great as you all say......Pic of 5 shot group at 10 mtrs from rest outside with the good old Gamo 440. I am going down South for Christmas to the In Laws where they have a heap of small game - rabbits, hares, pidgeons, cats and heaps of foxes (might be a bit ambitious for the 440). Hopefully will get some photos to send post when I get back. (will be away from a computer)
Anyhow I am getting in early and wishing all a Great Safe Christmas to all of you and good hunting.
Rob

The more you shoot them, the more you will like them!!! Happy Hunting! tjk
-
Good luck in your hunt down south and your taking the right pellet for the job.:) Ed

great group. Enjoy the predators, and your vacation.
-
Thanks guys,
I have ordered another box. I will keep you posted
-
With that kind of accuracy...you`re going to do some hurting to those critters. Have a great vacation down south....don`t know if you can go any souther than Oz though.....
-
Thanks i will try my best. My 440 shoots about average FPS for the gun. I have not put it over a Chrony yet. I was wondering with good shot placement what range would be the limit for it on a rabbit.
-
Say hello to the wombat down south for me Rob.. You will love those pellets once ya poke a hole in fir or feather....
-
The best hunting pellets bar none!!! You will be astonished at their performance in small game. I don't know the velocity of your gamo but if you can get the pellet there the predator will do the rest. Just remember the three rules of airgun hunting: shot placement! shot placement! shot placement!
-
So Who uses Predators for Hunting? Is that your favorite pellet for hunting?
-
They are without a doubt my favorite hunting pellet in .177 and .22
Jeff

I use them only for hunting bigger game like rabbits. I like rws supper H-points or supper domes for popin pest and squirrels.
-
Kool crockpot,
did yer fined them in OZ at last
or did yer go to NZ
-
Found them in Oz Kiwi. I will say hello to a wombat for you too Randall. Ordered another box also going to stock pile em. Very Very happy with them guys...would not have ever found out about em if not for this site!
-
I can't those pedators to group very well at all. Because of the importance of shot placement I use JSB and CP's for hunting. .22 caliber RWS tuned 54.
-
Predators are the best hunting pellet period. I killed a coyote with one of the .177 for goodness sakes.
-
I saw your coyote. Good shot. You must have been 5 yards away. I just can't get the accuracy out of them predators.

Thats strange that yours don't group well. I guess each gun has its preferences. My Whisper really likes them, I think it has to do with the fact that I broke the gun in with the Predators purposely hoping that it would prefer them.
PS the coyote was 25 yds away.

When I was road raceing bikes, yer never run a new
bike in, Just give it death from the moment the sales
guy hands over the keys and you would end up with
a fast engine
