: Gamo Hunter 440, .177cal. and .22cal. SOLD
: raterminator December 01, 2008, 06:19:53 AM

Both guns are in excellent condition. Guns come with GTX (.177) and GRT (.22) triggers, new spring guides and brass top heads with Maccari’s E-2000 springs, new Hornet piston seals and swivel sets installed. With Hunter .177, Accushot rings and RWS 4x32 scope are included. Hunter .22 comes with 1 piece Accushot mount only, no scope.
Package deal ($380 + s/h).
Hunter 440 .22, will be sold in package deal only. For .177, taking into account the cost of all modifications, I’ll ask $180 shipped.

Oh man...    you just had to post that sale when I'm broke didn't you?!?!  Those are sweet...     if I get a wild-hair to hit the pawn shop I'd love to take em' off your hands!  Of course, my beautiful girlfriend would kill me as soon as Brown Santa showed-up!

Sorry Matt,
Think this way: “Do I really need them or I’m just mesmerized by them"(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif).
As I remember, you already got good guns and if you’re not a collector, you most probably don’t need these twins. Neither do I. It’s like having a closet full of beautiful shoes, but always walking around in more comfortable ones (though I have to state that Hunter .22 is a really good by all means). I got 2 R9s and with my lifestyle that is more than enough for me. OK, maybe another R1 in .22 will be good to have; I’ll think about it.

Very-well put.  I think we all tend to romanticize things even if we've already got enough to begin with.  Then this other side of rationale steps in and says, "But you've got two boys who could use some nice shooters" which in all actuality comes back to my Citizen-Cane, need to own one of everything mentality.  You're right.

No guns for Joe, Ed. He got enough guns to arm the whole Suffolk County:), but he's my city guy, how could I turn him down.

Joe,
It’s too far from you (25th exit on LI). But we can meet any day and anytime before 6PM. If I call you now I’ll have to keep it short. Better if I call you tomorrow morning.

Ahhhhh, it would seem I'm not the only one who has their spouse(or in my case girlfriend) call work to tell me about the arrival of another toy and utilize the phonecall for a "get out of jail free" card to get outa work!  I knew I wasn't alone!

I made some changes. As I told Joe (we finally met and he made a very good impression on me, not to mention he put a crack in my toilet tank:p , but that’s my fault: I forgot that scope isn’t zeroed yet:0 ). Ok, as I told him I put that .22 for sell just to make deal with .177 more sweet. Otherwise I had no intention to sell that gun at all, especially for cheap. So, Hunter 440 .22, will be sold in package deal only. For .177, taking into account the cost of all modifications, I’ll ask $180 shipped. Thanks and be well.
