I finally got the scope tied dawn now it is distorting the rail and has shook the insides out of the scope all loose now
any ideas I had hoped to have this gun to bang allot of rounds through at paper I think it will hammer it self apart
any ideas on coming it dawn even if I have to detune
thanks

Are you using the scope mounts that came with the gun ??
You will probably be much better off with a quality 1 piece mount,,,, Leapers, etc.
I think someone made a posts the other day concerning scoping a Falcon Hunter and they mentioned a beeman mount that has some sort of cross pin in the base so as to lock into the scope rail on the rifle. If you do a search you should be able to find it.
As for the harshness of the rifle,,,, I've spent quite a bit of time shooting the ,22 and .25 version and yes, they can be harsh. I'm sure a good tune would do wonders.

I shot my father's .22 this weekend and I will second the harshness. We were only shooting at 15 yards with it and it was actually grouping pretty well. He does have a one piece base with integrated stop and it hasn't moved yet. I can't remember which scope, I think it was a Hawke 4-16. It is in dire need of at least a lube tune. It's one of the roughest cocking and harshest rifles I've shot yet.

I was the guy with the original problem I since have a one piece Mont and a custom stop behind now I am just knocking the rest of gun apart I think its a great hunter not a paper shooter

I second that Howard. Your rifle will be much more behaved with a tune. Like Jeff said, A one-piece mount would be your best bet. Most come with a "stop-pin" that will seat in a hole or slot of the scope rail that your rifle came with,....like I said before, I'm not too familiar with you particular rifle, nor the type of rail the factory installed on it. Post some pix to give us a better idea. I use the photo-bucket site to load pix on this site. Hang in there though, we'll get this thing figured out in no time!!!! tjk

I think it was made to hunt but being the destructive monster that it is just like the 1250.22 that I have, she's tuned and shoot's smooth now.You will have to tune her to tone down the aggressive nature of the beast. A lighter tophat and a debur, polish and lube of the go-fast part's might be what she need's. Ed

Howard, what I did with mine, was take the original stop off the gun & use that hole to insert the stop pin on the accu-shot mount,I never had a problem after that,,,the original mount is garbage,,,,,,Roger(Bhawanna) found out that JM will be putting tune-kits together for the Falcon Hunter in January.

new with air gun who is jm does he have a web sight were one buy tune kits

James Maccari, check out our " MALL" section here. He sell's tune kit's, lubes etc. Ed

what does a tune kit normal consist of
-
Depending on what Kind of tune that your looking for. Some kit's come with spring, guide, piston seal and tophat. Just a spring upgrade and piston seal probably won't solve the harshness and vibration. :0 A full tune is needed which involves custom made spring guides for the mainspring, custom tophat and a process of deburing, honing of the compression chamber, Polishing key parts and possibly piston mod's. We have tuner's here at GTA, Gene of "Tunez-n-Toyz" Does some real MAGIC! with tuning shooter's. If your looking to really bring out the best in your shooter you might want to go with a full tune, it's well worth the money spent to have a smooth accurate and predictable shooter. Check out his sight in our "MALL" section, he's sight gives you the lowdown on what's involved in his tunes.:) Ed

The JM kit would be welcome news.
I thought I recollected Gene saying he wasn't too interested in working on these. I am sure he will correct if that is not the case. Mike Melick also did one and seemed doubtful about doing any more.
I tried doing my own and made progress, but only with the original parts and top hat. Harshness and trigger improved some, and the velocity consistency improved greatly. That said it is still a harsh and very powerful springer. I know a real artisan could do better. I wonder how much a lighter top hat would affect velocity? It could also sure use a better seal, as most of the factory ones seem to arrive torn up a little.
