Welcome aboard KIXX!
This is one of the most relaxing and informative forums I've found. Great people, no attitudes, no "Airgun Gods"....or at least no-one that claims to be... Glad to have ya aboard,
Dan

Thanks Dan..;~) I'm glad I stopped by. Charlie said it was a place I would enjoy...he was right.. :) I really like the way this is laid out too. Glad to meet you and I look forward to talking with you again soon...

Glad ya stopped by too, we can always use new faces...or, uhm, posters. Like Gene said the "album" section of this site is great, much easier to use than photobucket, I use it all of the time....wonder when Gene is going to start charging me for server space:) Hehe, really though, it's a great bunch of people, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Hey, wait a minute! Your mean I'm NOT an Airgun God???!!! Damn, than means my wife is right, this halo is really just a receding hair line! Oh well, welcome to the nut house, Kixx. Can I at least be Cheif Nut?

Hey Dave..:)
Sounds like you've had a taste of the yellow stuff too...lol. Well from what I see here you guys have a good thing going.
I've been working on machining some parts one at a time to see what this lathe and mill can do. I picked them up last fall on sale and haven't spent alot of time on them yet. I did magage to turn out a few aluminum pistons and a few other parts for the crosman line of 13xx and 22xx.
Looking forward to turing out a new spring guide for my Gamo also.

I talked to Route 50 today..hes a busy guy for sure..maybe we can get him to stop on by too. I would like to see a pic of your gun sometime..I know you explained it to me but your probably going to do some more to it before its all said and done..hehe. Got anything else your working on?

Well i picked up a power adjuster for my 2300 from Art, it looks pretty spiffy.
and between a HDD and a low power setting you can get an absolutely absurd number of shots per cart for target work.
I have a feeling playing with different springs and settings will keep me ammused for a while.
haha i spent a while last night tweaking it up and down vs a plastic milk jug, from bouncing off, to penetrating one side, to going straight through was just a couple turns of the knob. :)
Yeh im not sure whats gona become of the 4050 exactly.
One thing thats kinda up in the air is barrel lenght, i got some numbers from Steve in NC that suggest rapidly diminishing returns with that bore side on a 22xx valve.
I have extra blowgun tubes so im gona try cutting one down short.
I would love some easy way to make it a breech loader, i have one idea, but im not sure it's practicle.
(i meen besides a custom breech, i want this concept to stay i the realm of things most people can do in their garage, just on principle.)
I'll snap a pic for you sometime soon.
