Everyone else does, why not you Brent?  Get in line buddy, hehehe

Nice Talon!! Congrats and good luck with it.  From box to dead nutter in 20min..!  I love it.  I have a couple of Golden Antlers w/adj. A/O.  I think they 're pretty decent for $43 new that I paid for them.  Haven't lost zero yet but they do need a sun shade, otherwise make sure the sun is behind you.
I suggest you keep the SS Brent.  There are various very effective shrouds on the market, new or used, that can be had relatively cheap (for ~$100) on the classifieds or from several people, retailers, tuners, etc.  They will make your SS spit out "pfft" with ease  :emoticon:   But knowing you, and how resourceful and skillful you are, you 'll probably make your own and save a few bucks.
BTW, your SS should be very accurate with Predators and even CP's.

I go off to my inlaws for two days, and come back and see Brent killing tree rats with a Talon? Nice shooting as usual. I have a Talon and is super quiet with a talontunes shroud. It shoots heavies 28gr. at 900 fps. What pellet are you shooting Brent?

Congrats on the new shooter. I look forward to some videos with it.

Good looking Talon Dan.  I take it you have the 24" barrel?  51fpe is really good for a Talon!!  Are you doing 900fps w/28.4gr on a stock Talon tank?  or do you have heavier hammer/spring and valve mods?

As far I as know Harry the tank is standard, but polished. Tony gave it a full tune, hammer mod, o-ring mod, and a vented bushings. I have the 18" barrel in it, but came with the 12" as well. The numbers I got were from Tony after he worked his magic. I went to my black box and got the numbers out to check. 2900 psi fill with .22 jsb's. No mention of what grain they are. I thought they were heavies, but guess they probably aren't. Twelve shot string from 902 to 881. She likes to kill Starlings that's all I know.
I bought the gun used off of the talon airgun site. Was thinking of selling it, but can't  bring myself to do it. Shoots way too nice. Just have to wait until I can pick up a big scuba tank. Filling by hand is a nightmare. :0

Ok those are the JSB Jumbos 15.9gr.  900fps with 28.4gr is really Condor territory.  Glad to hear Tony has tuned your Talon!  He usually tunes them for good consistency unless you ask for extra power.  The he 'll bore out the ports a little on the valve.  Your Talon should shoot Kodiaks pretty well too right?  They are rediculously accurate in the 800fps range in AF guns.  Kodiaks love the LW barrels.  More energy too..

My .25 Talon Tunes Condor has same mods as yours with some extras..
- Full tune
- 90gr hammer & heavier spring
- Port & polish valve (newer hi-flow valve)
- O-ring mod
- Hammer slap mod
- Vented bushings
- Vented frame

but mine came with a 14" Airhog shroud as I have on the .22 Condor - they are very effective just like Tony's shrouds.

These airguns are just too much fun! Yes, mine loves the kodiaks. Just wish she would fire the Eun Jins better. I have always heard that the AF guns love them. Mine sure doesn't. Maybe inch and a half group at 30 yards, but I get dime size groups with kodiaks and superdomes. Recently found some Predators in .22 at a local store, but the weather has been horrible since I picked them up. Must be bad juju. :p

Hey Brent. I just noticed that one didn't flip out of the couffin feeder. Like some of the others on your vids. Did that Talon shoot him stone dead or what?
